Reorganization

A lot of the appliances here are going to find new homes on the counter above the dryer after David moves it. The Kitchen Aid mixer weighs a ton and was taking its toll on my back lifting it out of a cupboard. I don’t want it on the kitchen counter either so I’m going to establish a baking center in one corner above the dryer next to the pantry.

Poor Dana spent a miserable day under our house and now David is going to undo all her good work, but it wasn’t all in vain because we’re getting all the laundry done before David starts moving things around. I even washed the duvet cover and we all know what that means…wrestling the duvet back into it. It’s a two person job and John and I got it back on in record time…teamwork is everything.

And I’m reorganizing a lot of things that have been bugging me for a long time. I even took the kitchen cabinet door in front of the trash bin under the sink off its hinges and cleaned all the grime from around the knob. It’s down to the bare wood and I was hoping a can of paint in the garage would match the cabinet the color. It might, but it is completely dried out and no longer viable.

Final Note: We’ve lived for so long with DT that I think we’re all just worn out by him. When the time comes, I hope the sane among us can join together and exert some pressure, but in the meantime I’m going to rest my brain and try to enjoy our family, friends, and neighbors , all the sane, right thinking good people who I care about in my own little micro-environment. From now on I am going to refer to DT only as ‘The Felon’. And pay as little attention as possible to him.
