Temptation

I knocked off an hour early today because there wasn't much on and I was fed up. We went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory instead of eating the stir fried chicken left-overs from a couple of days ago. That's on for tomorrow now.

We exhibited iron will; we walked right by the cheesecake display case and allowed the entreaties of our server to fall on deaf ears. Perhaps we should have stayed for cheesecake.

Instead, we went into the adjacent mall and stopped in the shelter adoption center on our way to buy a birthday card. I guess the planets aligned because that's as far as we got.

We fell in love with some sort of Heinz 57 terrier, named Finlay. We now have a 4 month old puppy. Will likely blip him in the next day or two. He's fixed already so, hopefully, should be less of a ladies man than his namesake.
