Skating

The air temperature rose during the day, to 2C in the afternoon.  We walked to Inverleith Pond, where people were skating .. not a thing that happens every winter. In extra, there was a little bit of open water where the swans and ducks were congregating ..

Some mud on the paths, and some places were still frozen hard. It will take a day or two of temperatures above freezing for the frost to come out of the ground.
