Woof, woof

We took Rory from next door on a walk this afternoon and here he is meeting his pal, Finn, a toy poodle. 

After a bit of shopping, we are now back home and just caught up with last week’s ’Call the Midwife’. 

It makes me laugh when I hear some people dismiss the show as popcorn fluff. In fact, it has over the years given us a pretty faithful understanding of the birth of the NHS. 

In today’s episode, we had underage pregnancy, the trials of a mixed marriage, as well as the proposed independence of the Isle of Dogs (based in fact).
