Down River

Down to Retford today to see the family. It was Jeri's birthday last Monday so we're celebrating that today! I took this picture of the river near Jeri's before going in, and saw Mum, Dad and Zeph arriving just after taking this.

I saw Jeri and Paul yesterday too when I gave them a lift around Leeds following their ultramarathon. I was surprised that it was still going ahead with the awful icy conditions, and it sounds like a lot of the runners wouldn't have bothered if they'd known beforehand how bad it was. It was dangerous and shouldn't have gone ahead. Jeri and Paul did really well do go 30 miles!

Sophia and Flora both came back home on Friday, which is really nice. We got takeout last night and watched all of the 6 episodes of The Traitors season 3 so far. I hate having to wait until Wednesday to find out what's going to happen!
