Cumstoun Bridge

Today's the day ......................... to thaw

It was strange to look out the window this morning and not see a widespread frost over everything.  

The outside temperature was somewhere in the region of 4 to 5 degrees - positively balmy compared with recent mornings.  And through the day the temperature has slowly but surely risen, so that now all the ice has gone and everything is back to green again.  It's just as if, it never was.

I had a quick walk out to Cumstoun Bridge for a bit of fresh air - but it was all rather grey and gloomy.  The temperatures are set to rise into double figures over the next week apparently.  It would be nice to think that there might be a bit of sunshine in there too ......................
