Crested barbet....

a first in our garden!  I have been hearing a different bird call in the past couple of days and today I found it high up on the electricity wire!!

There was an enormous African snail at the gate today (see the extra) - in fact it was stuck below the gate and we had to move it in case someone arrived and ran over it!!

I love all these critters that we find in Zambia!

I decided to go to a new church today - I saw an advert that it started at 9am!  I arrived to find the gate shut...so I came home and sent a message to the minister - he responded this afternoon saying they had  had a theft in the church and so they had to postpone the service - but they didn't think to inform anyone!!!
