A Bright Sunday Morning

The first half of January is sometimes thought of as the most depressing time of the year. However, when we are fortunate to have clear blue skies and little wind, the weather here has the ability to transcend our melancholy and  lift the spirits. This morning the bare trees looked stunning against the blue sky and this pine made it seem almost Mediterranean.
