I remember the day

Tomorrow our eldest daughter Clair will be 50. How can that be? How can all those years have gone by without me noticing?

This evening we had a brief Zoom get together and here we are - Kent, Cumbria and Cornwall. Joanne was taking part from her kitchen in Newlyn as she was cooking - it did become like a cookery demonstration at one point, much to everyone’s amusement - the girls made occasional brief appearances. Maisie has her geography mock exam tomorrow and she asked her grandad for a last word of advice. He said ‘however’ - ‘I’ll remember that’ she said.

We had given Clair vouchers for breadmaking workshops. Bread Ahead is a bakery who provide professional workshops from their base in Borough Market. We also sent her their impressive book. She was so pleased and couldn’t wait to choose her workshops.
