Something new

I went to a hear the Harps North West Performance Group at Ings church this afternoon, a great little concert of eight harps and a clarinettist.  It fitted this cold grey afternoon really well, and there was tea and cake afterwards too.  I learnt that lever harps are also called clarsachs and are smaller than pedal or concert harps and have fewer strings (typicallly 34 compared with around 47) and are much more portable - but they didn't look portable at all!
