Hanging About

Miss E had a climbing competition today. I hadn’t planned to go but she was stressed about it and I didn’t feel I was being very supportive so I jumped in the car at the last minute and off we went.
We went to Waterstones first for Miss E to take back a book she ordered which arrived with the pages cut all weirdly and then we said goodbye to Miss L who’d come along to meet her friend for an afternoon’s shopping (I suspect she was swapped at birth) and set off for climbing.
Miss E did so well. It was a bouldering competition which is nerve-wracking to watch.
She flashed a few (got to the top in one go, first time), topped out a few more (got to the top on the second/third etc attempt) and fell off a few without getting to the top.
She was relatively pleased with her efforts. I was very pleased and proud and whooped. Quietly, because I’d been told!!
Home to Archie and a quick turnaround for me. Packing and then heading to Bicester for a few days dog sitting for my mum while they’re away in Norfolk
