Allium seedhead

Even close today, so much so that my brakes froze and I had to borrow Paul’s car to drive to meet up with a friend for coffee. She’d been to Japan late last year and I’ve been eager to hear how they got on.

We were due to go out to eat in the evening for Paul’s birthday tomorrow but he didn’t really feel up to it so we cancelled and got a ready meal curry instead. In the end, it was a bit of a relief not to have to drive in the cold temperatures - we’ll find another time to go instead.
