Memorial service
The lady on the right is Maxine Kay, a Yorkshire lass originally, who was a treasure. She was always smiling and encouraging and her faith in her Heavenly Father and His Son was unwavering! She and David, her husband, led the good News Club at church for many years and their influence was felt by many hundreds of children and families. Latterly they had run the church shop and always found lovely presents and cards to buy. She became unwell and had been on oxygen for a long time and went home in the middle of December. Her cremation took place on Christmas Eve on the 60th anniversary of their first kiss!
This drawing was done by their granddaughter from a picture that had been taken when she was a young child with her grandparents!
