The Beginning of a Lemon Tart
I had assembled all the ingredients and tools last night so I could just jump in when I got up. Well, not before coffee. But I did start by 730, and bam, there went the day: baking, laundry, take a shower, keep an eye on the beef stew for dinner, pick the greens, take a nap. Set the table, realize I got the count wrong, add another place. Mr S made two loaves of his fabulous sourdough bread, washed the greens from the garden, washed the lettuce, washed the dishes. So much work, such a good meal, and now they’re all gone and here we are with too many leftover cookies and a piece of lemon tart. What a dilemma!
