I ended up with a brewery by deciding that it was just as easy to make 60 litres of beer as it was to make the standard home-brew batch of 25 litres. Of course, you need a bigger pot and after that it's a small step to making 160 litres. And it takes a little longer but not proportionately longer.
Taco seasoning is much the same. Why make enough for one batch when, if you put in the initial effort of converting teaspoon measures to weight you can just as easily make enough for 10 batches. I don't think you can scale that into a business but if that's not exciting enough for a Sunday then I don't know what is.
