Daft as a

dodo woodpigeon. Stupid thing has jumped the nest too soon and can't fly. One of its siblings did the same yesterday and I found it half eaten (actually don't think it was the dogs as they would not be so un-greedy and leave the majority of it) in a flowerbed. Maybe they have been abandoned by the parents but I'm going to have to keep it out the way of the dogs and it is not helping matters by jumping out of everything I stick it on or in.
