Cats are funny

Portia loves my wet towel when I’ve finished with it after a shower. She rubs her face on it, rolls about on it, and, if I’m not quick hanging it up, like today, she curls up and goes to sleep on it. 
Speaking of cats - one ran across the road in front of my car  - thank goodness I was doing 20mph - the speed limit around here.  I was able to stop easily.  Some people complain a great deal about being asked to drive at 20mph.  I think it’s a very good idea in the inner city.  I’ve also had elderly people stepping out in front of me, and children on bikes shooting across in front of me without looking.  So far I’ve been able to do adequate emergency stops.
