Old Binoculars

I wish I had the knowledge to have written down the history of these binoculars when I was a child. I know they were around before World War two. They were given to my Dad by a member of the British Army, and I think he was was part of Eastern Command based at Luton Hoo Estate.  I also remember being told this officer had either served in Africa or was heading out there.

He did make it back and survived the war. Every Christmas my parents would receive a Christmas card with a fox on it as a reminder of they evenings spent at the local pub called the Fox.
