They are preparing to dig up our road and keep us imprisoned for 7 weeks!
These depressions in the road conceal some unknown risks to those doing the work.
Highways and the water company obviously did a desk top survey on Google earth and never bothered to visit the site nor survey the proposed diversion route. Single track road, heavily potholed, no passing places and it floods when it rains because all the drains are choked.
Luckily the contractor has more sense and they are doing their best to keep a route in and out open at all times.
Will have to see how it goes….
