Vacuum cleaner.

The vacuum cleaner broke. The motor works fine but the brush bar doesn't spin. This is because the bearing siezed and because it wasn't spinning, friction melted the plastic pieces holding it in place. I have been unable to get any spare parts so I have made the shape of the plastic housing in epoxy putty. I will have to create a separate piece tomorrow when this one is hard. I have freed the bearing but if it is not in exactly the correct place then the repair will fail because of vibration.  I don't think the repair will work but I had the epoxy putty anyway so I thought I would give it a try.

Update- the repair worked for a little while then the epoxy putty failed. The problem was it was old and didn't set properly.  This putty is supposed to be as hard as metal.
I've bought a new vacuum. One can but try.
