The Lizard to Kynance Cove

Our friend, Diane, has never been to the Lizard Peninsula before, so today Ann invited her to come on one of our 'I walk Cornwall' walks with us.

The walk was described as 'easy to moderate' and we've done it a couple of times before. Diane is super fit and plays badminton, but she found some of the hilly bits a bit hard. I didn't care. I just zoomed around in my normal bouncy Collie mode. We walked for just over 4 miles which took us 2.5 hours, because the humans kept stopping for rests.

2.5 hours is a long time for me to be on a walk so as soon as I got into the house I gobbled up my breakfast that I hadn't eaten earlier squished myself underneath the coffee table for a snooze. I was a bit muddy and I'd heard Ann say that she might have to put me in the shower to get me clean. I didn't want to go in the shower. I prefer to let the mud dry on me and then when it's dry I can shake it off, though sometimes Ann has to comb me and then cut out all the matted bits of my fur. I don't like that either.

I had a lovely walk with Diane today. It's so nice when friends want to come on our walks with us.

Five, 'I Walk Cornwall' walks completed now. Only another 95 to go before the end of 2025. Lol!

And in other news............... it's 6 years ago today since Ann lost 'MollyCollie'. Just where has the time gone? Much as she loves me, and thinks that I am a almost perfect pooch, she still thinks about MollyCollie every single day.
