Stumped...

I was saddened to see that the tree butchers had been at work again in the school next door. This is the second year that they've been in to cut back the lime tree, and whilst I know it will sprout new growth in the spring, at the  moment it just looks rather ugly and forlorn. In contrast, the silver birch behind it looks as elegant and delicate as ever
