Telescope

   Many years ago on holiday in Egypt, we took a trip out into the desert to experience a "Bedouin Camp. We were also to meet up with a team of astrologers from a local university. They had set up a number of telescopes and gave us an introduction to the night time sky.

   Then a full moon burst out over the canyon walls, it was awesome. Cell phones weren't as common then as they are today but my wife got to connect her phone to a telescope ad photographed the moon. I was hooked.

   Ever since then I drooled over many a telescope, asking myself, "Should I buy one or not"  Well last week I did a search for telescopes for beginners and struct lucky and got a very good deal on this one. It was better than half price. Will be spending time tomorrow assembling it and read the manual.

   Ironically - all the clear dark skies we had around here last week have all disappeared behind banks of dark grey clouds. C'est la vie !!!
