Day 11

First day into my nicely organized, cleanish studio......i spent a few hours practising some of techniques i've been watching on CWA....see the extra for the before shot of this one.   

I took 3 older paintings that i didn't like and the great thing about oil and cold wax is you can just keep painting over and over an image until you get it where you want!!!  with this one i was doing some solvent reduction, and some masking using a piece of torn newsprint and getting some straight edges along with the more organic shapes....very interesting.   After about 2 hours my back starts complaining to i stopped!  this one, along with the other 2, will stiffen up a bit overnight and so tomorrow i can go back over there with more paint.
