As Eyes See It

You may have noticed I am blipping even more sporadically lately than I had in my first 4 years.

The good news: less blipping, less eye pain!

The bad news: I have been diagnosed with the benign sounding Dry Eye Syndrome, a very painful degenerative eye condition.  DES is brought on by climate (the desert) and frequent use of screens (blipping, emailing, watching TV).  For me, the pain is directly proportional to the time I spend on the laptop. 


Since I am the Secretary of the Board of our Neighborhood Assoc., a certain amount of screen-time is built into that position.  Going forward, I will not accept the position of secretary at the annual meeting held in April.  But for now, if I am to limit eye strain/pain, then infrequent visits to your wonderful journals and infrequent posting is the solution. 
This makes me very sad :-(
