Not a pretty photo
Managed to get out for a bit of a walk today but it wasn't anywhere near as much as I would have preferred to walk if conditions had been better. Most paths were still treacherous and I had to walk in the road. The cold air was triggering the asthma and I had to keep stopping. Tried the inhaler but it made little difference. A mask makes a big difference but you look stupid walking down the street on your own wearing a mask! Having paused to try the inhaler I set off to walk a bit further and crossed the first set of traffic lights at the pelican crossing then as I reached the next crossing I spotted Terry's car coming my way and I thought I'd cut my walk short and hitch a lift home!
I felt better for a bit of fresh air but really need more exercise.
By this evening there was very little snow or ice left in our garden and I expect walking will be much easier tomorrow - hope so anyway.
Got a call from the GP surgery to book my asthma and COPD annual review - I am not convinced I have COPD but I could be in denial! It was not conclusive re the COPD and I was told that if I have it it's only mild. They did the test right after I had been lying flat on my back for a lung scan and I was struggling with reflux at the time which I am sure might have affected the result.
The household waste bins were emptied this morning at long last (day 23) so that's a relief.
The photo is the only one I took today and I know it's grim but it sums up the morning well.
I put the adventure lab public last evening and it soon appeared on the map. This morning someone did it already! I doubt I will add any more to this lab pool but it's nice to be part of something different. I have several lab caches that I've built before this one and they are all done to my own specifications..
The link is here for my lab pool cache (hope it works) for any geocachers who'd like to have a peep...
