Sunshine in the forest

What a delight to see these ferns basking in the sunlight!

It has been quite cold here for the Sunshine State. The low temps have been in the 40's F (around 6 C) for many days. Yikes! That means putting on sweaters (jumpers) - pants or leggings (not shorts) - and long sleeves, not short sleeves! Sometimes I've even worn a lightweight down vest (a puffer?) and we will put an extra blanket on! 

Today the temps rose up to over 70 F (21-23 C) but they will be back down tomorrow... We are simply used to warmer weather here, although this has been unseasonably cold for Florida recently. I must say, the cold now is easier than when it reaches 95 F with extreme humidity in the summertime. Hope your weather is behaving itself and/or you are making the best of it!
