A girls best friend

On Mohs hardness scale diamonds rate as a 10 and are the hardest.  They are also a girls best friend I believe.   I purchased this ring from an antiques shop many years ago but gave up wearing it as the band was wearing thin and I was getting annoyed at it catching on things.  Maybe I should get it out again.
