Insights Into My Sketchbook

I keep a sketchbook, a rather nice one, for practicing my Botanical Art. It is really a journal of my progress as I study. The college does a weekly challenge for students to try something based on their chosen theme. 

This week was a one colour challenge. As it happens, I have been experimenting with greens, either creating my own or using my supply of ready made greens. The challenge therefore fitted perfectly and these three leaves were created using my green pencils only, which is harder than it sounds as it limits the choices.
