View from the 23rd floor

HAPPY THIRTIETH BIRTHDAY, IZZY!

We started our evening with drinks at Hannah's and then we walked 'round to Beetham Tower, to start our evening proper at Cloud 23. 

It's been quite radically smartened up since we last came here, and the view was wonderful, this evening, as you can see from my second Extra. 

We had cocktails and fizz, and a lot of fun: everyone was on good form. And Izzy loved her presents. 

And after that, the Minx and I took Izzy for a birthday dinner at Hawksmoor, which I think must be her favourite restaurant. As ever, the food and service were excellent, and we ended up staying for two and a half hours. I don't know where the time went!
