Goldcrest

My neighbour arrived at the door today with this injured Goldcrest. It was so tiny bless it and must have only weighed a few grams. i held it in my hand to keep it warm while i looked for a box to put it in to take to the wildlife hospital nearby, but sadly it died before I could find one - poor little thing :-(  Such a beautiful little bird.
Note I washed my hands and everything I touched really well after - just to be careful for my indoor birds.
