My day

We minded the three younger boys today. Elijah hasn’t had much chance to ride as their house doesn’t have pathways, even though the block they are on is large, long and narrow. Max and Oscar had heaps of concrete driveways and learnt good skills for bike handling at an early age. Charlie is learning too. So here they are, Oscar on my eBike, Charlie on Bob’s old fold up bike and Elijah on his little one. It was very warm so we didn’t stay out for too long. I took these from the shade of the grandstand (extra) but did one lap of the cricket oval. On my feet, not my bike. 

Early on they played pontoon with Bob while I cooked a cake. The age difference is 4 years between these 3 but the gap in abilities in playing games and managing bikes is huge. It wont be much in the future but at the moment it is hard to get games that suits them all. 

We are expecting the Sydney Grandchildren tomorrow but there is a train strike and I'm not sure they will get here.
