Tuesday morning
This is quite a common sight. My bus stop is the last ‘getting on’ stop. Subsequent stops are all ‘getting off’ - at Temple Meads and the city centre. But this was the third in a row. I took a photo as an expression of frustration - probably with blip in mind. The driver saw me doing it, stopped the bus and let me on! Perhaps he thought I was going to make a complaint about him. So that’s a new plus about blip I hadn’t experienced before:-)
On the left is a section of the social housing project of about 200 flats built about 2 years ago and still empty. I can’t figure out quite why, I know they have been taken over by a London housing association. But nothing happens.
A lovely morning at Fareshare, even busier than usual, and quite a few problems to deal with. Luckily I can help solve some problems myself now, as I’ve been there long enough to understand what’s needed.
A video meeting with my cousins in the afternoon - always lovely, but unusually, this time they was a lot of focus and support about my health problems. Not a role I’m used to - the poorly one.
Last but not least, I wrote and sent my resignation to the Oxfam shop. I’ve given them plenty of notice to give them time to find cover.
