More Inverness architecture
Perhaps this doesn't look too bad, but it was previousy a concrete monstrosity. It was built for Highlands and Islands Enterprise in the 1960s but more recently redeveloped with a softenened exterior when converted into modern flats with bars/restaurants below. The sad thing is that a building dating back to the 15th century, known as Queen Mary's House was demolished to make way for it. Only the cellar survives now as a nightclub called The Den. (Their website makes no reference to its history, rather fitting for this town.)

I spoke to my daughter today. It seems to me that she is getting overloaded trying to sort out her late uncle's finances. It doesn't seem right to me, but there is nothing I can do about it. My wonderful daughter does everything except hitting herself with a big stick.
