elected to make leek and potato soup instead of a walk at lunchtime, can’t bear to contemplate a house without a pot of homemade slurpiness. Also helps give my digital meetings and screen break, which drives me up the wall if I don’t walk away from the computer and Teams periodically. 

This morning I had to do a talk to the national flood forecasting and warning team, contribute to a training programme session, deal with a community engagement programme and prepare for this afternoon’s fun - the government CivTech programme, where Blip founder Joe Tree now works, so it’ll be good to see him. (After I’ve had some soup of course!)
