Frozen Stowe

As always seems to be the case when I’m house-sitting in Bicester, I had to set off first thing for Buckingham!
Mrs L and I had a lovely walk at Stowe. We decided to make a bit more effort than usual and walk up the hill and take the longer walk round the top. As usual every time I go up there I say how much I like it and how we should walk up there more often.
And every time we don’t do it again for another couple of years!
Despite it being about six degrees the lake was frozen solid which was weird. We were debating whether or not it was actually frozen when we noticed the stones floating on top. Bit of a giveaway!!
Tea in the cafe as usual and then back to Bicester for an afternoon with the doggies and Happy Valley. I’m going through a Sarah Lancashire phase at the moment.
