Skating on thin ice.

On our way back from Halifax we did a detour to have a look at the pond.
Didn’t expect to see it still almost completely covered in ice as the snow has now melted.
The ducks came running when I got out of the car. Slipping and sliding over the ice.
Unfortunately they were disappointed as I didn’t have any duck food for them. Must remember to get some more from the pet shop.

It has been a beautiful day. Sunshine all the way, and 9C. and it has warmed the house. No heating needed although we will be putting it on soon when the sun goes down.

Our first walk of the year with the Pudseys tomorrow. I have a feeling it may be rather muddy!
