CALM ON THE STRAND

This morning, my daughter & I walked
Angus & Ellie along the beach. The
walking path is called THE STRAND,
& is the place to be on a beautiful day
like this. Just 15 or so miles, north of here,
the Palisades Fire is still burning.

It seems impossible, but the wind is
still menacing up where I live. It
should start to calm down this afternoon.
& THE RED FLAG warning will hopefully expire at 6:00PM. Fingers crossed, no
fires start.
