Cat crack consequences

Little M came visiting at teatime today, blissfully unaware that my big blue boy P was already snoozing on his chair.  M had a good rub and roll around with the magic banana again and then jumped up on me for attention while I was watching the making of the film, Silent Running.  I never knew that they part-converted an old aircraft carrier for it!  Indeed, the Valley Forge space freighter was presumably named after the USS Valley Forge carrier that was decomissioned in 1970, just a couple of years before the film came out.
