HERITAGE

Some of Hartlepool's heritage is hidden behind the walls of what used to be the old Museum and Art Gallery, but is now the offices of the Museum Service. I only spotted this for the first time today. The dome in the background belongs to Morrisons supermarket, a building which cannot, in my opinion, be graced with the words "design" or "architecture". It would be bizarre if in a century or two it was also thought of as heritage. I hope not.
