Up on the hill

A lovely morning, sunny and mild and barely a breeze. Excellent cloudage too!

Round to a neighbours for lunch today. When we left, I saw that I had missed a message from the care home. A long story, but the upshot is that John had fallen overnight, broken his hip and the poor man was back in hospital as of this afternoon. He will be operated on tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, I will be able to see him afterwards. It's going from bad to worse. Unbelievable. 
His late wife's niece and I had another good long chat tonight. She's way down in England.  So glad we have each other to vent to.
