Desert Bighorn Ewe and Lamb

We were treated to a wonderful sight during our day trip to the Valley of Fire today.  A herd of Desert Bighorn Sheep came through with  5 lambs and at least 5 ewes.  We watched as they crossed the flatter land and headed up the rocks.  They stopped briefly a few times as one of the lambs would try to nurse.  Most of the time they were headed away from us, so photos were difficult.  This is a highly cropped photo taken as they were about halfway up the rocky mountain.

Any day out with my camera is a good day.
