Again and Again

Deficits

I managed to catch my hair in my headset during the first meeting of the day. The current reserves of patience are severely depleted and had it not been a WFO day, alongside the presence of my manager, it may have been scissors.  Luckily Sue has teenage daughters and offered to free me.
I ticked off the majority of items on my list at lunchtime; the Walnuts from Grapetree were joined by many items not on the list and a cake found its way into the bag at the bakers. As I headed to the pharmacy I was behind a lady walking three dogs that were just  walking so beautifully I had to just watch.  They paused and the dogs just looked up and waited for her to unleash them.  Did they get my share of patience today?
The evening involved a social get together with volunteers from the walking festival.  The organisers supplied food and drink as a thank you. A generous gesture.
My evening routine disrupted, I struggled to sleep, experiencing severe cramping in my feet at one point.
It doesn't bode well for tomorrow.
