Kings Cross

Thank you for all the lovely comments yesterday. My sister's achievement and my BiL's snazzy tie got the thumbs up from Blippers. 

It was a lazy evening and an early night for everyone, especially me. This morning we cleared up the flat and set off for our journey home. Windsor-Slough, Slough-Farringdon (via the Elizabeth Line which was a first for me), Farringdon-St Pancras and the few steps from St Pancras to KX. 

Having spent a lot of time at KX in the days before it was hugely upgraded I still marvel at it. Here's the roof which I like very much. We are now on board the trusty 12:00 KX- Inverness train which should be stopping in Stirling at 17:20. All we have to do is sit here but I know we will be tired tonight. 

Yesterday was an amazing day. The whole operation, of course, goes like clockwork. We are all so proud and delighted to have been there. What a trip it's been!
