Bargain brides.

I sent a text to Vic this morning to wish him a happy birthday, and he said he would meet in the cafe at 10.30 for coffee & cake.  I did my workout and  as he said, he was waiting at said time, with his daughter and Jeannie, and some yummy cup cakes made by his daughters friend. He didn't look very well, (obviously) and said he wasn't having a very good day. Anne joined us after finishing her class, and Cath arrived a bit later, after  a dental appointment.. I think Vic enjoyed all the hugs and kisses lavished on him, and his daughter took a photo of us all. 
I then walked to town, only took the one photo, and caught the bus home. I wore my mask on the bus, although I was the only one , but better to be safe than sorry. 
After watching Martin Lewis on ITV the other night, I did some research on our energy bills. We are with EDF and  as I don't want a smart meter, there was only one deal, which is fixed for a year with no exit fee, so I was happy with that, and went ahead, although I feel worn out after exercising my brain so much.
