Jetty

Our first full day in Langkawi (Malaysia) and after a good breakfast, we walked along the beach in both directions stopping for a while to talk to another couple from a sister hotel to ours.

Our beach has a long jetty, and it made for a nice photograph along it's length towards islands in the area.

We spent a few hours around one of the pools before rain started late afternoon but after half hour it stopped and soon dried up in the 30C heat.

Talking to friendly staff, there is a three day conference tomorrow with the Malaysian Prime Minister attending!
