Mind the Edge

We had to go to Brixham today so we walked as usual from the Cafe Venus ( 5 miles). You don’t need to be Hercule Poirot to deduce that someone is on board this boat which is used for storage. We saw a glimpse of someone.
Bird of the day was a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming away on the woods. The nature notes book confirms this is a bit early but last week we saw a butterfly, and things can be forward here.
We incorporated a visit to the library, and booked tickets for Robbie Cummings’ Canal Boat Diaries at Brixham Theatre— a favourite TV programme. Off to Wetherspoons tonight for a curry night with friends. Perfect day.
