Sunday lunch at QP Bistro on the West Coast. High hopes. Started well, beautiful location, escorted to a seating area to chose aperitifs (mine was wrong, didn't arrive until we were seated). We had a good table with a view of the musicians. The food was ok, not outstanding although the rum brulee was worth the journey alone. Service was very slow and a little terse.
A taxi was summoned, we dropped Alistair off at his hotel and we carried on to Holetown. There was no space at the rum shop but some local boys gave us their seats, ok they were upturned beer crates and a table up the back with the empties. We bought them beers in return. Rum was had. Sandra sang Paper Roses. Same as it ever was.
