Leicestershire heights

Today’s walk group was quite the adventure to Borough Hill Iron Age hill fort. At just over 200m altitude quite a hill by our local standards. The route featured many stiles, frozen ploughed fields, various floods to cross and a gorse thicket. Great fun was had by all and I felt I’d earned my hot bath afterwards.
