Another passion of mine

Music is another love of mine. I started my life of music in the Salvation Army, playing the tenor horn in e flat! Something of a lost art these days, but it helped me to learn the basics of musical theory as well as how to read sheet music!

I then developed my skills to more contemporary instruments in my early teens, learning guitar, bass and ukulele. All relatively similar in theory, but providing me with a range of sounds with which to begin writing my own music, as well as doing concerts around my home city of Southampton.

I dabbled in drums and other brass instruments aswell, but I really love the guitar. It just speaks to me on an emotional level that is difficult to explain 

So when I opened up one of my Christmas gifts from my lovely wife to be and found this little puzzle, I was overjoyed that I would be able to display on a smaller scale one of my ultimate passions in life. 

Not to mention it looks awfully similar to my first ever guitar, the Yamaha Pacifica, a clone of the Fender Stratocaster, but a lovely guitar in its own right.
